The information sheet (INFO 225) aims at clarifying the obligations under the Australian Corporations Act 2001 (Corporations Act) and the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act 2001 (ASIC Act):

in scenarios when initial coin offerings (ICO) are being considered for raising funds, or

when businesses are involved with crypto-assets such as cryptocurrency, tokens or stablecoins.
