Act No. 93 (H.550). Property; unclaimed property An act relating to unclaimed property

This act updates Vermont’s current unclaimed property law, and it is largely based on the revised model act produced by the Uniform Law Commission (ULC) in 2016 with certain Vermont-specific provisions. This act repeals Title 27, chapter 14 (Vermont’s current unclaimed property law) and replaces it with a new chapter 18.
The term “property” includes (B) includes property referred to as or evidenced by:
(i) money, virtual currency, interest, or a dividend, check, draft, deposit, or payroll card;
