The aim of this act is to make reforms to the Federal Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money laundering laws. Among other things, it establishes that the Director of the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (“FinCEN”) shall carry out a study on the status of implementation and internal use of emerging technologies, including blockchain technologies.
